Fall Schedule

I have received my orientation and class schedule! Whoo-hoo! It's about time! Tomorrow my books will be purchased with care as I want to find used copies to save some dough. The used prices for my bookstore were better than Amazon prices. If I can't find it used I plan on checking whether Amazon can beat the new price. The thing about textbooks via Amazon is that you can't wait very long. Those used copies go FAST!

I checked out my professors too. One of them has a blog I thought I'd start reading for possible insight into their character.

My bus schedule can be planned out and all that's left is figuring out what to wear for school pictures. Ugh!

Speaking of school pictures and remembering my horrible high school photos, let me tell you how pissed I am at JC Penney. Yeah, I'm infuriated at a department store for ruining, DESTROYING the pristine imagine of The Breakfast Club with a copy-cat commercial. Just say no for remaking 80s films people. John Hughes doesn't need a makeover.

    Good luck with that 100 day challenge! I could never make it, I love shopping too much. And I'm jealous that you already have your orientation info and class schedule. Do you have to wear a suit for your pictures?

    No suit, in fact there was nothing telling me what I should wear. So now I'm torn between looking slightly professional or more down to earth (which is more my personality). Hmmm...

    I would assume that if they didn't mention anything about what to wear, then it's probably casual. Or you could always be safe and do a business casual type thing. Does your school have an orientation webpage? Mine does and it showed a group of students in casual dress with name tags on so I'm assuming that it's casual dress for mine.

    I think it’s always better to be overdressed than underdressed. I wouldn't do pants suit, but a dress skirt,

    Yeah, I think I'm going to wear a casual skirt and top with flats. It will be hot so I'll be ok and I'll be with a small group since they break photos into groups by name.

    I do like that dress though! It looks so comfy.
